Pet of the Week – Bernadette Peters

Pet of the Week – March 21st:

Bernadette Peters (“Birdie”) is a 3 yr old Pointer / American Bulldog mix.

Her family moved away and left her behind in the yard, alone and without food or water or shelter or care of any kind. It was nearly a month before she was found, yet her gentle and trusting and loving spirit never flagged. Birdie adores walks and runs (she’d be a fabulous jogging companion!) and will play fetch for as long as you’re willing! Birdie is housetrained, crate trained, and of absolutely superior intelligence. She is good with other dogs but we don’t recommend a home with cats or small kids. She is equally happy to run around the park with you or snuggle on the couch for a good movie. Birdie weighs 65 pounds and is fully vetted and on heartworm prevention. Birdie has been waiting for a long time for a family to love her the way she deserves – can you help us find that family for her,  please?
